About Spector Law:
At Spector Law, attorney Cassie Spector helps families protect what matters with comprehensive and end-to-end guidance. Cassie began practicing law in 2017 and is licensed in Oregon and Washington. Cassie founded Spector Law in 2023, and since then has empowered over 100 families to secure their futures with confidence.
Plain English, Not Legalese: You’ll walk away empowered, educated, and fully understanding every decision you’ve made.
Make It Easy For You: In addition to our office at the Lincoln Tower (Tigard, Oregon near Washington Square Mall), Spector Law is also available weekends, evenings, at hospitals, at homes, and everything in between - Spector Law has a fully mobile office and staff so we can help support your family however works best for you. Additionally, Spector Law’s back office location is in Damascus, Oregon, and as a result, Spector Law also provides services on the “East Side” throughout Multnomah and Clackamas County with a focus on Damascus, Sandy, Boring, Gresham, Clackamas, and Estacada areas.
Make It Easy For Your Loved Ones: Cassie has seen the alternative firsthand: grieving families sifting through dusty bankers’ boxes, unorganized folders, and piles of mail and outdated records. Instead of mourning, they are hunting for account numbers, arguing with hospital administrators for a second opinion that should have been pre-authorized, and trying to piece together a financial puzzle while in shock. Cassie is obsessive about how to make things as easy as possible so that when, not if, something happens, your family knows what to do.
Real-World Reliability: Cassie does not "paper-only" plans. Cassie focuses on the practical details that make a plan more likely to work when it matters most. No fluff—just suggestions based on what worked for previous clients.
What’s it like to work with Spector Law?
Spector Law is ran by attorney Cassie Spector. Spector Law is proudly supported by, and could not run smoothly without her incredible team members, paralegal and husband Robert Spector and by Spector Law’s two amazing assistants Elise and Lori who answer phones and help our clients with logistics.

Spector Law focuses on estate planning. Spector Law prepares trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and medical directives. Cassie Spector helps people “put their affairs in order,” (who gets your stuff), plan for incapacity (what happens after a medical emergency or what happens if you have a serious condition like alzheimer’s), and plan who will raise your children if you are unable due to death or incapacity.

My thoughtful, heart-centered approach with clear communication combined with an obsessive focus on the details and a checklist approach to maximize results for clients. If you have an “empty cookie jar” (an unfunded trust), then your trust is not going to work the way you expect. This is one example where Spector Law obsessively focuses on providing detailed trust funding guidance, including with a checklist, asset inventory, written instructions, a cheat sheet, and explanatory videos. The difference is I am obsessed about the small details because I have personally and professionally seen where estate plans fall apart, and my professional approach is to obsessively figure out how to prevent those things from happening in the first place because of how much I do not want my clients to have to go through probate or litigation. Trust funding is one example.

Would you ever buy a product or service without knowing how much it costs? We wouldn’t, and we don’t expect our clients to either. Yet that is exactly how most other attorneys charge for their service – by the hour. And they can’t tell you how long they will work on the case or how much it will cost. This creates uncertainty, potential conflicts of interest between the client and attorney, and in most cases misleads the client.
Client’s may be able to initially hire the attorney for a lower price, but then get a bill each month (that they have no control over) and if they don’t pay that bill each month, regardless of whether it is $200.00, $2,000.00 or $20,000.00, their attorney will likely withdraw from the case. Then the client is left in the middle of their case—having spent a lot of money—now has no attorney and has to try to hire yet another attorney. That new attorney is going to take even more money to just get “caught up” on the case. It is a vicious cycle that isn’t good for the client or attorney.
Flat fees are best for our clients because they give our clients certainty – a custom price that fits the specific case or matter. It also allows us to focus on our work and not on billing, which takes a lot of time and effort. We get paid for our service, work product, judgment, efficiency and effectiveness. Not how much time it took to do a specific task.
While flat fees may initially appear to be higher than other attorneys’ initial deposits, at the end of the day they are generally more in line with what the client would have paid by the hour.
Our clients know the full fee prior to any representation. There are no surprises or unexpected bills. Regardless of why our clients seek our help, the situation is stressful enough. Our clients don’t have the added stress of unexpected fees and costs.
If price, not the quality of the work, is the most important thing for you, then we are not the right firm for you.

Collaborative, no legalese, and straightforward.
Start to finish, 6 weeks on average with post signing support and long term client care.
Convenient, attorney Cassie Spector and legal staff work 10-6, as well as some nights, evenings, and weekends. From office to zoom to your home or hospitals, we bring the meeting wherever is most supportive for your family.
High tech, with an emphasis on making sure that your Client Vault makes ongoing life changes (asset changes, new children, career moves) as organized as possible. This super organized approach is very proactive and it will make it much easier for a trusted loved one to step in when you have a medical emergency or after you pass away.
Checklist and systematic approach. There is a clear start and a clear end and when all checklist items are complete, you can have peace of mind that you have the fullest protection possible allowable under the then existing law. You can’t predict everything (zombie apocalypse), law will change, assets will change - but by having a checklist approach and staying touch with us for ongoing support.
Supportive care - I know all of the above sounds like a lot. It is. But that is also why we keep it simple by taking it just one step at a time at a pace that feels both supportive but also gets everything done as quickly as possible.
Estate Planning Philosophy
As an estate planning attorney serving Oregon and Washington, I help high-achieving professionals and busy parents protect their family's future. Having started my career in litigation, I saw how messy, time-consuming, and expensive the court process becomes when planning is not done right. My goal is to ensure that when a medical emergency or death happens, families have peace of mind knowing the paperwork is accessible, decision-makers have legal authority, and financial details are handled. I focus on guiding families through estate and trust planning, business succession strategies, and asset protection - establishing trusts for children and grandchildren, developing succession plans that preserve family harmony, and structuring plans that safeguard family wealth.
Estate planning isn't primarily about money - it's about stewardship. I believe peace of mind and protection come when families are educated on the law and empowered to decide what strategic tools are right for them. My greatest satisfaction comes from seeing families feel confident about their choices and secure in their legacy. I see each client relationship as lifelong, staying connected through all of life's seasons to ensure your estate plan evolves with your family through all of life’s stages and professional milestones of gathering dust on a shelf.
At Spector Law, my goal is always to provide information, educational materials, or any other resources that might be helpful for your specific situation. My #1 goal: Be helpful. Be a resource. Get you pointed in the right direction.
